Beijing’s foreign ministry claims that Chinese initiatives can be seen on at least ten African currencies or coins.
According to the Nairobi-based CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo’s LinkedIn account,Larry Madowo the African banknotes depict brand-new towns, bridges, dams, universities, parliamentary buildings, mosques, and satellites.
He remarked, “No other country is as prominent as China in the daily lives of so many Africans.”
China’s investment in Africa has increased dramatically over the last 20 years, changing both the economic landscape of the continent and the geopolitical dynamics of the world. China wants to become a more powerful nation on the world stage and open up new markets for its goods and services, which is what is driving the partnership.
