The Talhar, Gokina, Pir Sohawa, Sanghar, Kharian, and the Talhar Gokina Youth Wing have criticized the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) for destroying the Monal and La Montana eateries in Margalla Hills National Park, leaving many people without jobs.
Accusing the IWMB of “double standards and selective enforcement of laws” that have unfairly impacted them, the group issued a press release.
Although the action was taken to protect the integrity of Margalla Hills National Park, it has angered villagers and impacted personnel, who blame the Wildlife Board for selective enforcement of the law and double standards.
The two famous eateries were shut down and demolished after the Supreme Court ruled that they were unlawful.
