An IED exploded when a police car was on a normal patrol in the Nawagai region, according to Israr Ahmad, the spokeswoman for the Buner district police officer.
Constable Noor Mohammad, the driver, Constable Iftikhar Ali, and Constable Altaf Ahmad were among the five people injured in the attack, according to the police source. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASP) Shahid Zada was also hurt.
He stated that the injured police officers’ health was stable after they were moved to a nearby hospital.
