RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday, security forces captured five terrorists, or “Khawarij,” during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Pishin, Balochistan.
According to the military’s media wing, during the operation, a significant amount of weapons, ammunition, and explosives—including three suicide vests—were taken from the terrorists preparing several terrorist acts that were intended to kill both security forces and unarmed civilians.
This growth coincides with security services’ continued efforts to combat terrorism, which has been increasingly prevalent in recent years.
According to the Centre for Research and Security Studies’ (CRSS) third quarterly report (Q3), the number of deaths so far this year through three quarters has exceeded the total number of deaths reported for the full of 2023 with 1,534 deaths compared to last year’s 1,523.
