At the Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore, a sanitary worker is accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl. The Mother and Child Center on the seventh floor of the hospital was the scene of the incident, which shocked the entire city and spurred significant protests.
The mother of the girl said that the hospital management was trying to hide the truth. The security officers detained the suspected sweeper, 22, after she made a fuss, and they turned him over to the Mozang police.
Despite the family’s claims, police said their early investigations turned up no proof of sexual abuse. On the other hand, a case has been filed under the harassment provisions against the suspect based on a police report. The cops are examining the hospital’s CCTV footage.
