On Tuesday, the Ministry of National Health Services revealed the startling fact that 80 million people in Pakistan suffer from mental illnesses.
Details stated that a report from the ministry of health had been delivered to parliament. The economic downturn, unemployment, and inflation had been identified as some of the main causes of mental health issues.
Men are more likely than women to suffer from mental illnesses, yet both sexes deal with mental health issues. Workers, entrepreneurs, and jobless individuals experiencing mental health issues or other psychological difficulties.
“Today everyone is facing the economic challenges, and as a result, the entire family system has been disturbed,” stated Rizwan Taj, the ministry of health’s focal person.
