KARACHI: According to meteorological data released on Wednesday, the temperature at Jinnah Terminal fell to single digits last night as the port city’s temperatures grew cooler.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reports that Tuesday night saw yet another drop in the temperature, with the lowest recorded temperature at Jinnah Terminal being 9.1 degrees Celsius.
The lowest recorded nighttime temperature in Karachi during the past 24 hours was 11.3°C.
The temperature decreased to 10°C in Gulistan-e-Johar, 12°C on Sharea Faisal, 12.5°C in Mauripur, and 12.2°C in Bin Qasim, according to Met Office area-wise data.
The average December temperature in the city is 13.4°C, according to PMD.
It is anticipated that Karachi would stay dry for the next 24 hours.
