PESHAWAR: Asad Qaiser, the former speaker of the National Assembly and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), revealed that three main topics were brought up in talks with the government.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Qaiser disclosed the three requests made by the government: a judicial investigation into the events of May 9 and November 26, the release of PTI founder Imran Khan and other political prisoners, and an end to the nation’s lawlessness.
The PTI leader claimed that abuses of power are becoming a thing of the past and that the accusations made against them are viewed as extreme forms of retaliation. “Is it not clear in the Constitution that every citizen has the right to peaceful protest?” he said.
