Many people throughout the world are disappointed by American tech entrepreneur Elon Musk’s recent remarks and tweets that appear to endorse far-right movements in Europe. In addition to giving the idea that the billionaire is participating in local politics in European nations, critics worry that remarks and tweets from a man with over 211 million followers on X (previously Twitter) could cause conflict amongst communities in various regions of the world.
Such tweets, according to Musk’s critics, are part of the propaganda of ultra-nationalists who wish to sow discord amongst the various populations on either side of the Atlantic. In addition to endorsing British far-right activist Tommy Robinson, Musk has sent out tweets that are interpreted as being supportive of far-right political groups in Germany.
