KARACHI: Due to a hand injury, Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter Haseebullah Khan will not play in the forthcoming Test series against the West Indies.
The 21-year-old wicketkeeper needed stitches after the ball struck his hand. He will therefore be unable to play in the two-Test series against the West Indies.
During the South Africa trip, Haseebullah, who has played one ODI and three T20Is for Pakistan, was the second wicketkeeper in the 15-man team behind Mohammad Rizwan.
The young wicketkeeper has promise and is a left-handed batter. On January 21, 2024, in Christchurch, he made his T20I debut as an opening batsman while playing for Shaheen Shah Afridi.
