Former PTI minister and independent senator Faisal Vawda called the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust reference a “open-and-shut case” on Sunday, claiming that imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan’s conviction in the corruption case was “writing on the wall.”
His comments coincided with the announcement on Monday (today) of the much anticipated verdict in the £190 million case against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi by an accountability court in Rawalpindi. At 11 a.m., Judge Nasir Javed Rana will declare the case’s verdict at the Adyala Jail.
“The £190 million reference is an open-and-shut case,” Vawda said at a press conference in Karachi. The PTI founder will be punished for his criminal actions.
