According to the military’s media wing, security forces in Balochistan’s Zhob area killed six terrorists who were attempting to enter from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border on Thursday.
The militants were apprehended by security personnel in the Sambaza area of the district on the evening of January 22–23, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
“Terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate was successfully engaged and thwarted by the troops of the company.” Six khwarij [terrorists] were consequently condemned to hell,” it continued.
The ISPR added that a significant amount of explosives, ammunition, and firearms were also found.
According to the ISPR, “Pakistan has repeatedly requested that the Taliban-led interim Afghan government guarantee efficient border management on their side of the border.”
The Taliban government was also pressed by the military to fulfill its responsibilities.
