Khawaja Asif, the minister of defense, has once again attacked Imran Khan, the founding chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing him of trying to make the army a “subsidiary” of his party.
Asif criticized PTI’s political behavior in a media appearance on Thursday, charging that the former ruling party put its own interests ahead of the country’s.
Asif stated that the party’s annoyance had increased as a result of the nation’s recent achievements, “The PTI founder wanted the army to become a subsidiary of his party.” He added that the PTI is now “licking its wounds” and turning to conspiracies as a result of losing power.
