Finally, Hilaria Baldwin has responded to the criticism of her Spanish accent.
The 41-year-old stated in the first episode of her new reality program, The Baldwins, that she is still “hurt” by the issue surrounding her accent, which caused people to start wondering who she was.
In a confessional session, Hilaria stated, “I love Spanish and I love English, and when I mix the two, that makes me normal, and it doesn’t make me inauthentic.”
“I would be lying if I claimed that [the controversy] didn’t bring me sorrow, pain, or dark places,” she added.
But my multilingual family, friends, and community realized that they belonged in many places and spoke many languages.
