LONDON: The Oxford Pakistan Programme (OPP) and the Sindh government have announced the creation of two esteemed scholarships named for Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
The scholarships will help extremely outstanding Sindhi students pursue graduate studies at the University of Oxford as part of the OPP’s annual graduate scholarship program, according to a news release released on Friday.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced these scholarships during their official visit to Oxford University.
The principal of Lady Margaret Hall, Benazir Bhutto’s alma mater, invited them to lunch.
