According to the first DNA profiling analysis, Mustafa Amir, who was allegedly murdered after going missing in January, was the owner of the human remains found during Friday’s exhumation at the Edhi Cemetery.
A three-member medical board, overseen by a judicial magistrate, excavated the burned human remains on Friday. The remains were discovered by police in a car close to the Hub checkpost on January 12 and buried by the Edhi Foundation on January 16.
The case concerns the alleged abduction and killing of the child, a BBA student, who vanished on January 6, 2025. After Armaghan opened fire on a squad from the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), the entire story came to light.
