In Quetta, Balochistan, a motorcycle loaded with explosives exploded Friday near Jan Muhammad Road, injuring ten people, including a security guard, according to the police.
Police and rescue crews raced to the scene after the explosion to begin relief efforts, transporting the injured to a nearby hospital for medical care.
Authorities are attempting to ascertain the type and cause of the explosion while cordoning off the area.
According to a police statement, a motorcycle was used to strap the explosive ingredients. But they stressed that the probe was under progress.
