ISLAMABAD: To help four million worthy households, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif unveiled a Rs20 billion Ramadan package on Saturday.
The prime minister stated during the opening event that the package, which would be given out during the first ten days of Ramadan, would provide relief to about 20 million people.
The prime minister expressed satisfaction with the lower price spike in 2025 compared to the prior numbers during the holy month of Ramadan, as a result of the effort that provides Rs5,000 deposits to each family via digital wallets.
“Rs20 billion has been set aside for the purpose this year. “Rs7 billion was the relief amount last year,” he continued.
