LAHORE: The spokesperson for the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore declared on Wednesday that today’s intermediate and matriculation exams have been postponed, amid the heightened tensions that followed the military escalation between India and Pakistan.
According to the BISE spokesperson, today is the scheduled day for the Matric Computer Science practical exam, the Islamiyat (elective) exam, and the Principles of Accounting theory exam for Inter Part II. Nevertheless, the examinations could not be carried out in light of the changing circumstances.
A revised timetable for the postponed tests will be revealed later, the official added.
The declaration came after India launched strikes on several sites in Pakistan, causing a military escalation along the Line of Control.
