For the benefit of energy users nationwide, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a quarterly tariff adjustment and a monthly fuel cost adjustment reduction in power tariffs.
Electricity bills issued in May 2025 will reflect the relief.
NEPRA’s official notices state:
The price of power will drop by Rs3.64 per unit for K-Electric customers. The February 2025 monthly fuel adjustment has been used to provide this relief.
The monthly adjustment for March 2025 would result in a 29 paisa per unit decrease for consumers in the remainder of the country (except from Karachi).
Furthermore, as part of the third quarterly adjustment for the current fiscal year, NEPRA has authorized an additional reduction of Rs 1.55 per unit.
