After Kyiv’s soldiers launched the war’s heaviest drone attack on Moscow overnight, Ukrainian and US officials convened for hours of private talks in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to discuss ways to resolve the conflict with Russia.
Following President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s dismal talks with US President Donald Trump last month, Ukrainians and worried allies looked for any indications of an improvement—or further deterioration—in Kyiv’s fragile transatlantic ties.
