Proclamations in favor of “Free Kashmir” and “Free Palestine” were discovered inscribed on a wall close to Jadavpur University’s Gate No. 3 in West Bengal, India, sparking new controversy on campus.
Following an incident on March 1 in which two students were hurt after being struck by a car from State Education Minister Bratya Basu’s convoy, the chants surfaced amid continuous student protests, according to Kashmir Media Service.
The demonstrations have been going on for a few days.
The identity of the graffiti’s perpetrator is still unknown.
