CHANGA MANGA: Amjad Yaseen, the driver of the Jaffar Express, has been deemed safe despite being the target of a terrorist attack while it was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar.
According to his family, Yaseen, who lived in Changa Manga’s Chak No. 17, survived the attack. On social media, a video of him attesting to his health has gone viral.
Earlier, erroneous claims that he had died in the incident went viral on the internet. To reassure his brother Amir that he was totally safe, Yaseen personally called him.
According to Reuters, train driver Amjad jumped to the engine floor for shelter when the militants started fire. “The terrorists breached the train by smashing windows, but they mistakenly believed we were dead,” he added.
