The physical remand of Armaghan Qureshi, the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder case of Mustafa Amir, was extended by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi on Tuesday till March 24.
On January 6 of this year, the accused burned his companion Amir alive in the Hub region of Balochistan after subjecting him to horrifying torture at his home in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA).
The investigating officer presented the accused to the ATC judge at the beginning of today’s hearing after his remand was completed, and he asked for an extension of his physical detention so that the investigation could be finished.
As the accused father was making a scene in front of the honorable judge, cops took him out of the courtroom to preserve decorum.
