Jaffar Express will start operating again today, according to a statement made by Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi on Tuesday.
After the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express, which was headed for Peshawar, near the Bolan district last week, Pakistan Railways (PR) halted its operations from Punjab and Sindh to Balochistan.
The railways minister told reporters outside Islamabad’s Parliament House that drone surveillance would be implemented to improve security for train operations in Balochistan.
In order to increase security, he noted, CCTV cameras are also being placed at train stations and other key areas throughout the nation.
