Washington: US President Donald Trump announced Monday that his administration will release approximately 80,000 pages of files pertaining to former President John F. Kennedy today (Tuesday), following his order to release classified documents pertaining to the 1963 assassination.
Trump told reporters, “People have been waiting for decades for this,” while at the Kennedy Center in Washington.
He went on to say, “It’s going to be very interesting.”
Trump issued an executive order earlier this year ordering the federal government to come up with a strategy to make data pertaining to the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr., Robert Kennedy, and John F. Kennedy public.
