The palace claims that even though Pope Francis was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, King Charles’ scheduled state visit to the Vatican in early April will still take place.
According to the palace’s agenda, Charles, the leader of the Church of England, will see his Catholic counterpart on April 8.
King Charles will make his first trips to Italy and the Holy See as king from April 7 to April 10, accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla.
