By disclosing that she is fighting skin cancer for the second time, Katherine Ryan has illuminated the difficulties she encountered in getting a correct diagnosis.
Ryan said on her podcast that she sought private medical attention and had a suspicious mole removed off her arm.
She stated that she was unsure if the NHS would have removed the operation, which she paid £1,000 for at a private facility in South Kensington, according to the Daily Mail.
Ryan went on to describe her battle with incorrect diagnoses, claiming that at a £300 appointment, a private physician first told her the mole was not malignant.
