The longtime KGB double agent who defected to Britain, Oleg Gordievsky, passed away at the age of 86.
Gordievsky was regarded as the most important spy Britain has ever had inside Russia’s intelligence services.
Although the coroner is receiving assistance from counterterrorism police, his death is not being investigated as suspicious.
The news reports that he passed away quietly at his Surrey home.
