Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed officials to complete Pakistan’s Electric Vehicles (EV) Policy 2025 and submit it as soon as possible to the federal cabinet in order to lessen the nation’s reliance on fossil fuels.
While presiding over a high-level meeting on Saturday to thoroughly examine the policy framework, the prime minister gave these orders.
The prime minister emphasized the necessity of promoting electric vehicles through priority-based initiatives. “We need to act quickly to encourage the use of battery-powered cars, buses, rickshaws, motorcycles, and scooters,” he stated.
