A judge has ruled that Justin Baldoni can be given access to Blake Lively’s and Taylor Swift’s messages as part of his continuing, well-publicized legal dispute with the actress.
According to Variety, US District Judge Lewis Liman decided on Wednesday that Lively’s conversations with her friend Swift regarding the conditions on the It Ends With Us movie set are pertinent to the case.
On the grounds that the texts were unimportant, Lively’s team had applied to keep Baldoni from getting them.
In December, she filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and his company, claiming that he spearheaded an effort to “destroy” her name and that she had experienced sexual harassment on production. He filed a countersuit, but last week a court dismissed his defamation case.
