Police confirmed on Friday that two men found guilty in a three-year-old rape case had been sentenced to death by an extra sessions court in Kot Radha Kishan.
The authorities claim that the two prisoners, Shafiq and Habib, were convicted of raping a little girl three years prior. Authorities gathered important forensic and video evidence during the lengthy investigation into the crime.
According to a police official, “the court announced the death sentence after conclusive evidence, including CCTV footage and DNA test results, confirmed the accused’s involvement in the crime.”
