The abroad Pakistanis are a source of pride and dignity, according to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), who defined them as a “brain gain” rather than a “brain drain.”
Speaking to the Pakistani diaspora while in the United States, the army commander rejected the disparaging epithet for the skilled citizens who went abroad to work.
They share the same enthusiasm for the nation as people back home, he continued.
COAS Munir encouraged them to actively participate in luring investments and to maintain faith in Pakistan’s promising future during an engaging discussion.
He claimed that the Pakistani community worldwide, whose loyalty to their country is a known fact, is directly responsible for Pakistan’s development.
