Officials claimed on Monday that seven local volunteers who were restoring Gilgit’s flood-damaged Danyor Nullah perished in a huge landslide.
Additionally, seven other people were hurt in the incident, according to GB government spokesperson Faizullah Faraq. After all of the injured were taken to local hospitals, emergency personnel were called in right away to handle the situation.
A mudslide buried the volunteers beneath tons of rocks and dirt as they were purportedly fixing a damaged water conduit.
Four people were rescued from the wreckage in critical condition, according to the police.
The search and rescue operations are now concluded, according to Faraq.
