QUETTA: According to the Levies on Monday, a search is in progress to find Ziarat Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Afzal and his son, who were kidnapped the day before while visiting the popular tourist destination Zezri.
On Sunday, unidentified gunmen abducted the AC, his son, the gunman, and the driver; the latter two were later freed.
The assistant commissioner had gone to a picnic area when the attackers took them, their driver, and their gunman hostage, according to Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Zakaullah Durani, as reported by The News.
After setting the official vehicle on fire, the kidnappers fled the scene, releasing the driver and shooter but removing the assistant commissioner and his son.
