Bill Gates, the creator of Microsoft, made news last weekend when he attended the pre-wedding festivities of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.
Amidst the luxurious celebrations that lasted three days, the tech billionaire ended his extravagant weekend with an Instagram post in which he published a snapshot of himself dressed in traditional Indian costume.
Gates was accompanied by his partner, Paula Hurd, and the founders of Infosys, Rohini and Nandan Nilekani, whom he referred to as “old friends” in the photograph.
Gates took to Instagram to thank the soon-to-be couple for their wonderful hospitality and the opportunity to reconnect with long-time pals.”This was my first time attending a wedding celebration in India, and it was incredible,” he posted on Instagram. “Congratulations to Anant and Radhika. Thank you for having us and giving us an opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
