Following the Wednesday dismissal of all charges, the investigator from Louisville Metro Police Department who was involved in the incident involving Scottie Scheffler at the PGA Championship published a statement.

Detective Bryan Gillis remained true to his account throughout the statement.

According to the statement obtained by News, “To be clear, I was drugged by the car, I went to the ground, and I received visible injuries to my wrist and knees.” “It will be alright; I’ll get over this. That’s all I have to say about the incident. In really, there are more pressing issues facing the globe now than a back-and-forth on this. That day, someone died, and a family lost a loved one.”

Gillis began by sending his sympathies to the family of John Mills, a worker at Valhalla Golf Club, who passed away on May 17 following a collision with a shuttle bus.

Gillis added, “For everyone involved, this was a chaotic situation.” “My top priority was making sure everyone in the area was safe.

“Mr. Scheffler and I both agree that moving ahead, there will be no animosity over this. Rather than responding negatively to the people, he spoke with respect, decency, and dignity. My family and I are grateful for that.
