Professional dancer Amy Dowden will talk candidly about her experience with breast cancer in a new program.
This summer, news will screen the movie, which is currently working under the title Amy Dowden: Battle of My Life.
It will air before she makes her strict comeback, having missed the previous season due to sickness.
The Welsh dancer discovered a lump in her breast the day before her honeymoon and was diagnosed in April 2023 at the age of 32.
In a statement announcing the documentary, she said, “Finding a lump on my breast changed my life, but it was an exciting new chapter in my life.”
Even though I had friends and family who had survived cancer, I never imagined that I would get the disease at my age and had no clue how it would affect my life.
“I hope others find strength and hope from this film, and that it encourages everyone to check themselves, no matter what age you are.” “I’ve learned so much about myself and what a cancer diagnosis means on this journey.”
Six days after receiving her diagnosis, she decided to let the cameras record her cancer journey, and for 15 months, she was videotaped.
