The 31-year-old just finished his 18 months of required military duty in South Korea.
After being kindled in Greece, the Olympic torch made its way to the host nation last month. It is currently passing through more than 400 places in the country.

It will travel 69 days and over 7,500 miles (12,000 kilometers) to reach the opening ceremony on July 26.
We don’t know the precise time that Jin will be participating, which is sad for BTS fans. Approximately 10,000 torchbearers are expected to participate.

Stage 48 of the relay got underway today, with the Olympic flame traveling through the Pas-de-Calais and into the Somme region.

It’s not just Jin who’s getting engaged; football legend Didier Drogba has also confirmed his involvement.

An honor shared by astronauts, sanitation workers, and the families of those slain in the Nice terror incident is the torch being held aloft.

With just over three weeks remaining until the start of the Paris Games, 10,500 participants are scheduled to compete in 329 events at 35 different venues.
