KARACHI: After the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted isolated dust thunderstorms with rain today (Monday), residents of the port city finally experience some relief from the heat as sections of the city experience rain and strong winds.
Several parts of Karachi were enveloped in dark clouds, notably Surjani Town, which also endured dusty winds. Malir Memon Goth, meanwhile, was also hit by intense rain and wind.
Numerous parts of the city, including Nazimabad, North Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Hadid, and Gulshan-e-Maymar, received the much-needed rain.
The drizzle that also fell in Saddar, Old City, and II Chundrigar Road put a stop to the ongoing heat wave that had been affecting the city for the past few weeks.
