The news was made shortly before the groundbreaking debut album by Oasis, Definitely Maybe, which was released on August 29, 1994, was 30 years old. It has also been 15 years since the brothers’ last performance together prior to their notorious falling out.
Posting the announcement on social media, Noel and Liam Gallagher both said, “This is it, this is happening.” In July and August of 2025, they will perform four times at Wembley, four times in Manchester, and four times in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
“The guns have fallen silent,” declared Oasis. The universe is in harmony. The long wait is now over. Come observe. It’s not going to be on TV.”

“Now is the right moment.”
In a statement, the band disclosed the reason behind the reunion, stating that there was “no great revelatory moment” but rather “the gradual realisation that the time is right”.
But given how near to the Definitely Maybe anniversary the time was, they claimed it “must be a subconscious influence.”.
