In an operation conducted on Friday in the Tirah Valley in the Khyber district, security forces successfully eliminated 12 terrorists after engaging their location through a fierce firefight.
Based on intelligence, the operation took place overnight on August 28 and 29, as the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) verified.
Based on top-secret intelligence, the security forces surrounded the Khawarij terrorist gang that was active in the region. This operation is a component of a larger effort to destroy the network of terrorists from the Khawarij group and those who support them, as they pose a serious threat to the stability of the region.
Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates have suffered severe setbacks as a result of these operations, and 37 terrorists have been killed thus far.
