The 26-year-old Enfield resident Kyle Clifford appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was remanded into jail pending his hearing at the Old Bailey this afternoon, which is being held at the neighboring Royal Courts of Justice.
Clifford is charged with killing Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters, Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, on July 9 at their Bushey, Hertfordshire, home.
When cops arrived at the property, Louise was discovered tied up, according to testimony given in court.
The court was informed that their mother Carol had been stabbed with a knife and had sustained multiple injuries, while Louise and Hannah had been shot with a crossbow.
The grief Mr. Hunt, a racing pundit for Sky Sports and the news, and his surviving daughter Amy felt “cannot be put into words” after their deaths.
Before, when the suspect was in the hospital getting treatment for an injury, police were unable to communicate with him.
A few days after their deaths, friends attended a memorial ceremony in Bushey for Mrs. Hunt and her daughters, Louise and Hannah, describing them as “together in grief”.
Hannah Hunt’s coworkers praised the “wonderful therapist,” while Louise Hunt’s acquaintance called her “one of the prettiest girls” she had ever seen, who “always had a smile and was very positive and hardworking.”
