According to global market trends, Pakistani gold prices saw a minor decline on Friday after hitting their highest point ever.
APGJSA, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, reports that the cost per tola of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs300, to Rs276,700. In a same vein, 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped in value to settle at Rs237,22 after losing Rs256.
This decline follows on Thursday’s record high price of Rs277,700 per tola for gold.
Gold prices fell on the foreign market as well. The global rate, according to APGJSA, was $2,663 per ounce, which represents a slight decrease of $2 for the day.
In the meantime, the price of silver per tola on the local market stayed constant at Rs3,050.
