The blind people were determined to keep protesting until their demands were met, thus the discussions that the Punjab government had started the day before with the protestors under the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Punjab were unsuccessful.
They severely hampered traffic in the city by blocking a major route that led to the CM secretariat on Mall Road. Residents of the city are severely inconvenienced by the sit-in outside the secretariat, even though one lane at Club Chowk has been opened to permit some traffic movement. Due to the obstruction, traffic in the neighborhood is flowing slowly, causing inconveniences for the residents.
The protesters have moved their demonstration to the CM Secretariat after holding a sit-in at Faisal Chowk, which is close to the Lahore Press Club.
