According to the foreign secretary, the actions target four organizations and three outposts that have encouraged and carried out “heinous abuses of human rights” against Palestinian communities in the occupied territory.
As his predecessor Lord David Cameron disclosed, the former Conservative administration was getting ready to impose sanctions on two Israeli ministers for remarks that called for halting aid to Gaza.
The three communities targeted by the most recent limitations are Tirzah Valley Farm Outpost, Meitarim Outpost, and Shuvi Eretz Outpost.
According to the UK government, the four organizations that have been sanctioned are the construction company Amana, the registered charity Torat Lechima, which provides financial support to the settlements, Hashomer Yosh, which recruits volunteers for illegal outposts, and Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva, a religious school that is known to encourage violence against non-Jewish people.
According to the statement, settlers frequently use violence to evict Palestinians from their homes and take their property for the establishment of outposts, which is against both Israeli and international law.
