In a social media post, the England Board made light of the fact that the second Test match between England and Pakistan is being played on the same field as the first.
The England Cricket Board posted the mysterious message “Getting set for Day 6” on X (previously Twitter) prior to the start of the game. Afterwards, they made the message read “Day One” and added a trolling emoji.
The fact that the second Test is being played on the same field as the first match is remarkable.
Meanwhile, following Jack Leach’s twin strike on Tuesday morning here at Multan Cricket Stadium, Saim Ayub and rookie Kamran Ghulam spearheaded Pakistan’s comeback in the second Test against England.
At lunch on the first day, the hosts defeated Saim Ayub 79–2.
