In Tuesday’s second One Day International (ODI) at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Pakistani openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique guided the Green Shirts to a perfect 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe, tying the series at three games.
Saim’s explosive century helped Pakistan easily reach the target of 146, which they were expected to chase, with 190 balls remaining and no wickets lost.
Pakistan now leads the three-match series 1-1 after the 10-wicket victory. The final ODI is set for Thursday at the same location.
The stunning hitting of the left-handed hitter, who scored his first ODI century in just 53 balls, dominated the match-winning partnership.
