The now 41-year-old plummeted 33 feet to the floor while working as a grip on Netflix’s popular film “Me Time,” which stars Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. The fall was caused by the actor leaning on an allegedly defective unsecured gate.
He suffered from a severe brain damage that prevented him from walking or speaking, as well as a broken jaw, fractured femurs, and a collapsed lung as a result of the accident. The pair now hopes that their narrative will spark reform regarding safety on set by suing Hudson Pacific Properties, the firm that controls Sunset Gower Studios, where the movie was filmed, in 2023.
Selina remarked, “I don’t want this to happen to anybody else.”
