Josh Greally, 28, was found guilty on Wednesday at Barnsley Magistrates Court and given a six-week jail sentence with a 12-month suspension.
In addition, he was mandated to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activities, 120 hours of unpaid labor, £85 in court expenses, and a £154 surcharge.
After hurling what looked to be a throwaway coffee cup and another object at the Reform UK leader in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, on June 11, Greally entered a guilty plea to a public order offense.
The things that were thrown were while Mr. Farage was campaigning on the upper deck of his battle bus.
He was seen in the video dodging the things so they would not hit him.
A week prior, Mr. Farage, who is currently the MP for Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, had a milkshake thrown at him as he was leaving a Wetherspoons pub.
